Deerhorn Trail clearing

A group of us spent the past Saturday (8/18/18) clearing about a miles worth of trail up to the confluence of The Sundance Ridge Trail.

The crew getting ready for work. It was an hour and half from 200 to the trail head.

Our “pack leader” making some of the first cuts.
The view looking into the Jungle Creek drainage.
The slackers enjoying lunch on Sundance Ridge under a White Bark Pine forest.

The “lost” spring 1 mile from the look out. Some of the best water I’ve ever had.
Worth the trip…you can see Mt. Silcox (far left), Cube Iron cirque and Mt.Hedley is in the far left with the multiple protrusions.
