On June 23 and 24, a group of our volunteers headed up into the Cube Iron/Silcox Roadless Area and cleared out the popular Cabin Lake Trail from the north end. We cleared in and out in about 4.5 hours. It was wet, cold and winter reminded us that it’s never too late to see snow in NW Montana. Below our some photos from adventure, we’d like to thank The Wild Horse Plains Back Country Horsemen for providing us with mules to use on both days. We all had a lot of fun while getting up into the woods and making a little extra money for the CCIC.
